Winter Music Conference koji se održava već više od 20 godina jedna je od najvećih glazbenih konferencija i festivala uopće. Od 24. do 28. ožujka 2009. godine u Miami Beach Resort & Spa u SAD-u okupit će se ponajbolji svjetski DJevi, producenti, umjetnici te inovatori i distributeri, proizvođači audio opreme, radio/video urednici i voditelji te mnogi drugi. No, to je samo mali djelić cjelokupnog programa ove 6-dnevne manifestacije. Organizirane su i slušaonice demo uradaka, arena za mlade nadolazeće DJeve na kojima će momci i djevojke moći prikazati svoje znanje, te nezaobilazno tulumarenje uz ponajbolje svjetske glazbene zvijezde.
Vodeći svjetski proizvođači glazbene opreme izložit će svoje nove proizvode i organizirati radionice i predavanja o novim dostignućima u proizvodnji glazbenih instrumenata. Na WMC-u će se održati i dodjela IDMA nagrada (International Dance Music Awards), za koje je već sada zaprimljeno na tisuće glasova, a glasanje putem interneta traje sve do 30. prosinca.
